He has written numerous print and Kindle books under his pen name MR Valentine – Sea-Gypsy Live-Aboards, Xtreme Preparedness on Land & Sea, Dome Living for The 21st Century his most recent Creating Your 21st Century Eco-Village.

Prior to attending Florida State University, he was with the world famous Post Newsweek TV Group covering consumerism, civil rights and the late 60s drug scene as an investigative reporter.

He is a graduate of both Florida State University with a BA in Sociology and University of Illinois with an MS in Advertising & Public Relations. He chose Public Relations resulting in having as his first major client the Original Marlboro Man, the late William Thourlby. He helped Thourlby’s You Are What You Wear became a standard for dressing for success.

He is descendant of Hugh The Templar of Ireland.
